By accessing Jamii-Aid and creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including campaign creators, donors, and visitors.
Jamii-Aid is an online fundraising platform designed to: • Enable African diaspora members to create fundraising campaigns • Facilitate secure donations to causes in Africa • Connect donors and beneficiaries transparently • Support health, education, emergency, and community development projects
To use Jamii-Aid, you must: • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country) • Provide accurate and complete information during registration • Maintain the security of your account and password • Immediately notify Jamii-Aid of any unauthorized use Only one account per person is permitted. Multiple accounts may be suspended.
Campaign creators agree to: • Provide truthful and verifiable information • Use collected funds only for stated purposes • Submit spending evidence upon request • Keep donors informed of progress • Not create fraudulent or misleading campaigns Jamii-Aid reserves the right to suspend or remove any campaign that violates these rules.
Fee structure: • Free Plan: 0% Jamii-Aid commission + standard payment processing fees • Standard Plan: 1.5% Jamii-Aid commission + payment processing fees • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing Donations are processed in real-time. Transfers to beneficiaries are made within 2–5 business days after verification. All payments are non-refundable except in cases of proven fraud.
It is strictly prohibited to use Jamii-Aid for: • Fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive activities • Financing terrorism or criminal activities • Fundraising for sanctioned organizations • Publishing defamatory, obscene, or hateful content • Violating intellectual property rights • Identity theft or impersonation Violations result in immediate account termination and may be subject to legal prosecution.
Jamii-Aid acts as a platform intermediary and: • Does not guarantee campaign success • Is not responsible for misuse of funds by beneficiaries • Does not guarantee continuous service availability • Is not liable for indirect or consequential losses Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you paid in the past 12 months.
Jamii-Aid and its content (logo, brand, interface) are protected by intellectual property law. By submitting content (images, text) to our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content as part of our services. You retain ownership of your original content.
You may close your account at any time from the Profile page. Jamii-Aid may suspend or terminate your account in case of: • Violation of these terms of service • Fraudulent or suspicious activity • Non-payment of fees owed • Request by legal authorities Upon termination, legitimately collected funds will be transferred to you according to our standard procedures.
